It is a full-fledged crime that exposes the impotence of the international community, the hypocrisy of global powers, and forces us to ask once again: how long will children in Gaza be killed without accountability? How long will mothers’ tears pour before the walls of the United Nations without yielding justice?

In bidding farewell to her children, Alaa did not only cry as a mother. She wept as a symbol of Palestinian women's resilience—targeted in their homes, their professions, and their humanity. Her cry echoes still: is there a heart that feels? Is there a conscience that awakens?
